Trendsetter

Go ahead everyone, laugh about Nathan's hat all you want to. He's quite the trendsetter amongst his friends at school. One little gal in particular, Cameron. As I dropped Nathan off at school this morning, Cameron's mommy came up to me and said that Cameron asked to wear a hat to school today. She said Nathan always wears one, so she wants to, too. If Cameron and Nathan aren't a match made in heaven, I don't know what is. Too bad Nathan has to move to Alabama. Cameron will always be the one who got away.
Nathan completely ignores me when I pull up, but not Cameron. When she sees my car pull in she runs over to the gate. When I get out she yells to me, "You bring Baby Kathryn?" I show up 10 minutes early each day so that Cameron can see Kathryn. Nathan used to be the protective big brother who stood guard over his sister while the other kids looked at her. Not anymore.
Kathryn is on her own now. Nathan isn't going to waste precious playground time to watch over Baby Sister.

    Oh, the hat is Nathan's idea? I had always just assumed that you insisted on it because you're not used to the cold and all... :) That hat is going to look super sweet in Alabama!

    Either Nathan and Cameron are way overdressed or the guy in the background of the first pic is immune to cold.
