First Day of School

Nathan had his first day of preschool today. He goes to Timothy Lutheran Preschool at Grandma and Grandpa's church. He only has five kids in his class with two teachers, Ms. Dana and Ms. Tiffany. They are great. Nathan went right to Ms. Tiffany this morning so that made it an easy good-bye. He didn't cry, he just watched me leave as I told him bye. Ms. Dana and Ms. Tiffany said he was perfect. He looked like he had been doing this for years. He was very easy going, full of smiles and even gave hugs. She must have gotten him confused with another little boy. Just kidding.

This is a picture of us before I left him this morning. As you can tell, he had fun from the minute he walked in.
They start the day off with chapel each morning for about 15 minutes. Then, he got to watch a pumpkin being carved. He got to touch and feel the inside of the pumpkin, as well. He also made me a very special Halloween picture for the refrigerator. On Thursdays, they have music and movement, which is right up his ally. I showed up a little bit early to sneak a peek as he played. It was so cute. He played very well with the other kids in the class. I can't wait until he gets to go back next week. I love it just as much as he does. It's amazing how much more I can get done in three hours without Nathan around!

Here he is with Ms. Tiffany.
We came home and played outside for a little while before having lunch and taking a nap.
