Another Dog Blog

Nathan's buddy Tyler is going to Florida tomorrow so they stopped by for a quick play date before they head out of town. We miss Tyler and his mom and dad while they're gone, but we sure do like having Saber at our house.

Nathan just recently realized that he doesn't like sharing. He gets that from his Uncle Joe. As soon as Tyler plays with something, Nathan jumps in and tries to take it away. Here is a prime example.Poor Tyler. Actually, I shouldn't say poor Tyler, he does a pretty good job at getting Nathan back!
Nathan's big thing now is taking walks....and actually walking by himself. We walk up and down the block. Nathan waves to people and says "hiiiiiiii" in his southern accent. After lunch we decided to take Saber for a walk, which was quite challenging. Saber tries to walk in the opposite direction as us and sniffs each blade of grass along the way. Meanwhile, Nathan is running down the block.
"What's the hold up? C'mon!"
"I don't have time for this. I'm outta here!"
After our walk we came in for a little playtime before Nathan took a nap.
Saber is cursing his family right about now and wondering what he did to deserve this.
Saber tolerates Nathan because he knows he'll be graciously rewarded when it's meal time.

  3. The photo of Nathan running down the street all by himself is so cute. Well, all the pictures are pretty cute. Saber does put up with a lot from Nathan. I know Mace or Hank wouldn't even sit anywhere close to Nathan. Love, Grandma

  4. I've been thinking about Megan's statement that Nathan is like Uncle Joseph. I think Nathan is more like is Great-Aunt Ruth when it comes to sharing. Anyone who knows about Great-Aunt Ruth's stinginess as a child will agree.
