Babies R'nt Us

After three months of the birth of our friends' baby boy, Steve, Nathan and I finally made it over to see him. His name is Vinh and he's as sweet as he is cute. It brought back all of my fond memories of when Nathan was his age. It didn't take long before those not-so-fond memories of sleepless nights resurfaced, though. It's kind of nice playing with a sweet, cuddly baby then handing him off to his mom when he cries.

Nathan was so sweet to Vinh. He wasn't quite sure what he was supposed to do with his hands, though.

As if meeting Baby Vinh wasn't treat enough, Nathan got to play with Voi. He is a Rhodesian Ridgeback. He's huge, but he's extremely sweet. Nathan had to stand on his tippy-toes to see over his back.
Voi was very intrigued by Nathan's cars.
Since we can't have a dog, we make sure to surround ourselves with friends with dogs.
Then we went to Sunset Grille for a late dinner. When the waiter set the plate down, Nathan picked up the knife and stuck it in the filet. (Steve always likes for me to order filet so that he gets to eat his and half of mine, as well.)
Nathan also got a chance to run around with our neighbor's dog, Sadie. See what I mean, we just surround ourselves with dog owners.

  1. What do you mean, you can't have a dog....there is a red headed stepchild in Georgia that has a dog tag that says the owner is Megan Meissner. Hmmm.
