Here is a picture of our tour guide telling us all about kangaroos.
Nathan thought it was funny to see the joeys drink from a bottle.
There were some cute little weird animals playing behind the glass, but Nathan was more curious about the little boy beside him. He wouldn't stop staring at him.
Nathan competed with the kangaroos for attention.
The most exciting animal of the day...........the kitty cats.
These joeys were just hanging out.
There was a dog in the bed of a truck beside us at a red light and Nathan thought that was just the funniest thing. He was laughing and pointing.
What better way to finish our Outback adventure than to eat at Outback. Actually, it was our third choice, but apparently the rest of Rapid City was hungry for Outback as well. Nathan had a busy day today so asking him to wait patiently for a half hour before we were seated was a lot to ask of him. So we just ate at the bar.
Nathan is a fan of the bread. Not to mention he also ate half of my filet and Steve's garlic mashed potatoes.
After we got home we played in the backyard with Saber. Nathan thought it was so funny to watch Saber chase Steve around the yard.
Then Saber would catch up to Steve then roll over to be rubbed.
Nathan joined in as Steve rubbed Saber's belly.

Overall, I'd say Nathan had a pretty good day.
Nathan is gonna love petting our cats when he visits.
ReplyDeleteNot that schitzophrenic cat.
ReplyDeleteIt seems that there are more things for children to do in Rapid City than in Atlanta. Nathan will get bored when he comes to visit Grandpa and Grandma.
