Fun

Nathan made up his gymnastics class that he missed last week because I was sick. The make-up class was so full that we spent most of the time waiting impatiently in lines then only getting to do the fun stuff once or twice. It was no fun, so after gymnastics I took Nathan to the park so that he could run around and do whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted.

Here he is as I'm trying to get him dressed. He wasn't going to let go of his Oreo for anything, so I did the best I could to get him dressed without making him give up the cookie and without getting slobbery cookie all over his clothes. Notice he's still wearing his pajamas on the one arm, while the rest of him is dressed. Also notice the look on his face that says he serious about that cookie.
While we were at the playground, Nathan kept looking up to me and saying, "fun." We had a great time with just Mommy and Nathan. Happy Birthday to Steve. His gift was not having to hang out with Nathan and me.
Nathan made a new running buddy/girlfriend at the park today. This is Jillian.
After Nathan's girlfriend left, Nathan found some new friends. Although, they weren't huge fans of Nathan. Those poor geese, Nathan always singles one out and chases it.
The goose caught Nathan off guard when he took off flying to get away. Nathan thought that was pretty funny. Here is Nathan's flying goose imitation.
An hour and fifteen minutes later...he's beginning to wind down.
When I looked over and saw Nathan lounging in the gravel, I decided that he was ready for his nap. I didn't get a picture fast enough, but he was laid out using the tire as a pillow. As I was putting him in the car, he waved and said, "bye-bye fun."
Nathan was definitely in need of a bath after our visit to the playground. He got out of the tub and immediately needed another Oreo before he could go down for his nap. There is no doubt he is my son. I can't do anything without Oreos either.
