"Here Mom, have a seat."
It would have been even more fun if I wouldn't have had to tell Nathan not to throw rocks every ten minutes. He knows he's not supposed to throw rocks, but when he sees other kids doing it, he just can't resist. Throwing rocks must be so much fun that it's worth getting in trouble over.
He's allowed to pick up rocks and drop them, just not throw them.
It's funny, though, when he's getting in trouble for throwing rocks, he quickly changes the subject and invites me to slide with him. Every time. He interrupts me mid sentence, with a smile and says, "Mommy side?" and starts walking over to the slide. I'm definitely in for it when he gets older.
After every couple of turns, he likes to cover his lap with rocks, just for good measure.
Here is a picture of Nathan watching Sesame Street this morning before gymnastics. I finally have a kid that will watch TV. It's great. He doesn't sit and watch it nonstop, but he'll watch bits and pieces of it while he's playing...usually with his cars. He never misses a Baby Bear skit. He thinks Baby Bear is so hilarious.
